We are delighted with Rita and Michael's progress in the showring since they started their show career in July 2010 at six months old. They have both had class wins at Championship shows along with 2nd, 3rd and minor placings. At open shows they have both won Utility puppy groups, Michael has had several Best Puppy, Best of Breed and two Adult Group 2 placings, whilst Rita has had several Best Puppy, Best Bitch and Best of Breed awards. Not to be outdone our Veteran girl Bunty has attended two open shows so far and has won the Utility Group on one occasion and was placed Reserve in a huge Special Veteran class. She is now looking forward to her next show! Sadly due to the weather we have been unable to attend any shows in either the 2nd half of November or all of December!!! however our training class held it's Christmas match where Rita was Res. Best in Match Well done Rita. The better weather has arrived so we're back!! April 2011was our first show since October!! At Scottish Utility Breeds Michael won FB Graduate, Rita was awarded FB Open Bitch, Best Bitch, Best of Breed and was shortlisted to the last 7 for Best in Show. Mummy Pearl came back to show the kids what she could do - she was awarded Best Veteran in Show, many thanks to Mrs J Paradise for a super day. Our first Championship show of 2011 was WELKS at Malvern at the end of April, Michael was Res Junior Dog and Rita Res Junior Bitch, Lucy Bonsall. Next was Scottish Kennel Club Ch show where Michael won the Junior Dog class and Rita was 3rd in Junior bitch, Mrs Lilian Poulson On to Blackpool Ch show where Michael won the Junior Dog class and Rita won the Junior Bitch class, Mr Barrie Croft Our local open show next (BAKA) Michael 1st FB Post Grad, Rita 1st FB Open, Michael went Best of Breed At Tayside, Lochee & District CC Michael 1st FB Open, Rita 2nd FB Open, Michael was Best of Breed At the Scottish Kennel Club August Ch show Michael was 3rd Post Graduate Dog and Rita 1st Post Graduate bitch, Judge Margaret Wildman (Wildax) At the Midland & Northern Ch show, Michael was 1st Yearling Dog and Rita 2nd Yearling Bitch, Judge Ellen Drummond (Glenlee) At Banff, Moray and Nairn CC, no Frenchie class but Michael was Best NSC and Group 2, Judge Pearl Crawford (Louiston) At the M&NCFBC at the end of November MIchael was 1st Yearling Dog and Rita 2nd Yearling Bitch, Judge Mick Gordon (Rustibee) December 3rd at BUBA Ch show Michael was 2nd Post Graduate Dog, Judge Angela McInnes Health Please only buy your new puppy from health tested clear parents. In September 2010 Mimi underwent Patella testing using the Putnam score which she passed and in November Mimi was DNA tested for Hereditary Cataract and the result is CLEAR, meaning that she has 2 copies of the normal gene and will neither develop HC, nor pass an HC gene to her offspring. July 2011 - Mimi has now undergone all of her health testing to complete the FBCoE Bronze award and is three quarters of the way to the Silver award. Aug 2011 - Rita has now undergone all of her health testing to complete the FBCoE Bronze award and is three quarters of the way to the Silver award.
